COLLABORATIVE DESIGN FIRM

This floorplan was designed for Turnstone Collaborative Group. A corporate office located on 28th James Street in Hamilton Ontario. My concept for this floor plan was to incorporate what I thought a workplace was, which is a place where people come together and fit the pieces of a puzzle together to create something great. Which is exactly what I did in this floor plan, by having a very linear layout and a layered ceiling I tried to convey a puzzle box being emptied on the floor and being organized to fit them together.

PATHS advertising agency is a high class firm that incorporates a lot of different types of hierarchy. The goal of my design was to make a functional yet focused environment. Where employees don't feel anxious by the indoors, instead more relaxed by the space. By having lots of custom seating and breakout areas throughout my design allows employees to feel more free to move around and enjoy work.
