R E N D E R I N G S

Maji is an asian fusion restaurant located in downtown Toronto and encompasses a variety of different asian cuisine. When my group and I discussed what would be appropriate for asian culture, but also functional for the public we thought of the layout being very linear as well as flow nicely. The ways in which these renderings convey our concept of the Japanese sea and the shore of Korea meeting helps portray two cultures infusing.

This group project was based off a fully electronic experience in way finding. Given the systems implemented throughout our healthcare facility through directional signs, room names/numbers and  simple graphic signs. Seeing as our concept is based around the nervous system which his basically your bodies built in supercomputer, we went with a technology - first approach for our way finding technique which is easily changeable and catches visitors and staff’s attention as they pass by it in the hallways. Our goal is for everybody to be able to use our way finding system either through touch, vision, or sound. We have used state of the art technology to direct our visitors and patients through our facility as seamlessly and as effortlessly as possible.

PATHS
BRINGING THE OUTDOORS IN-PATHS ADVERTISING AGENCY
CONCEPT INSPIRATION

Paths Advertising agency is a firm that encounters a lot of business and cliental functions. So with that being said I decided to divide this high functioning firm into a multi purpose yet focused environment. A place where employees don't have to feel anxious by the indoors, instead more relaxed by the space. By having lots of custom seating and breakout areas were people can collaborate in a comfortable environment as well as feel less anxious about tasks they have a space to get away and feel inspired. Thus I created PATHS Advertising Agency a space where people can think outside the box and focus on their work. The concept behind this design was way findings and taking a more scenic route. By having most of my design revolve around taking a different path to different spaces gives people the opportunity to choose their own route. The ways in which I laid out this plan vertically makes it easier for people to move around freely in the space as well as not feel so crammed in the working environment they are in. Overall Paths is a place where employees can feel at ease and as comfortable as possible.
